Poás Volcano & La Paz Waterfall Gardens or Doka Coffee Tour
Experience a visit to an active volcano in the province of Alajuela. The Poás features two crater lakes, one more acidic than the other, changing in color from iridescent greens to sulphuric yellows. Observe the vegetation changes on the drive up through scenic plantations.
Upon you return, you can choose to visit La Paz Waterfall Gardens or Doka Coffee Tour.
La Paz Waterfall is an impressive 120-foot-high cascade. The Gardens allow you to walk through dense forest, trails, a butterfly farm and exhibits featuring frogs and snakes.
At Doka coffee plantations, you learn about the steps it takes to process the bright red fruit on the coffee trees into the steaming cup you enjoy every morning. From harvest, seed extraction and drying, roasting and storing, end the day enjoying the final product and choosing from different varieties to share with friends and family back home.
- Tour length: 9 hours – Full Day
- Includes: Transportation, certified naturalist guide, park entrance, bottle of water and lunch.
- What to Bring: Camera, walking shoes, sunscreen, comfortable clothes, hat or visor, insect repellent, waterproof jacket and a change of clothes.

Cancellation Policies
If event of cancellation, we require 72 hours advance notice of tour date for complete refund. If you cancel 24 hours before the tour we will refund 50%. If you cancel your trip for whatever reason, 0-23 hours prior to the tour, all payments are non-refundable.
